Like many people I was raised on a typical American diet consisting mainly of foods filled with artificial, over processed ingredients. I didn't have much awareness of truly wholesome nourishment and my initial experiences with 'healthy foods' were not all that pleasing. It wasn't until my early twenties that I began to re-evaluate my relationship with food and diet. This came as a result of developing candida, a yeast overgrowth condition that impairs the digestive system and causes a variety of health challenges. This turn of events catalyzed radical changes in the way I ate and cooked and ignited my passion for creating nutricious and delicious foods that support healthy living and overall wellness.

For the past 15 years I have collected an abundance of information, experience and ideas that have all led me to where I am today. I combine my intuition, personal experience and creativity to provide innovative nourishment, culinary inspiration and wellness education; using alternative ingredients to create healthier versions of well known and loved dishes; experimenting with different food and recipes to find what works for my body and sharing my findings through recipes and prepared foods.

I am excited about sharing and supporting the wellbeing of my community through vital nourishment. I want people to know that eating healthy doesn't have to be limiting and unenjoyable. There's a whole yummy world of healthy cuisine waiting to be explored and savored. I am on a life long journey dedicated to vibrant living and I invite others to walk this path with me.
